IDOT is intended for people who want to build careers in Aerospace & Defence quality, inspection and QMS functions. No prior aerospace industry experience is required — the programme is designed to take an engineering learner and progressively develop the competencies a given designation needs.
You don't have to know aerospace quality before joining an aerospace quality programme — the training is designed to build that skill. The exact prerequisite for each grade is confirmed during counselling.

Grade structure
Typical eligibility: diploma / BE 3rd–4th year. Perform dimensional inspection, check components against drawings, basic in-process inspection, raise NCRs under supervision.
Execute AS9102 FAI activities, work with sub-assembly FAI, perform basic CMM operations, interpret aerospace drawing packages.
Progress toward source inspection, FAI package sign-off, configuration activities, QAP/CDR-related work and OEM/SQA representation, subject to merit-based conditions.
